METAL

Ola Mazzuca was 13 years old when she first discovered heavy metal. Two years later, she began writing about it.
With a heart full of passion for the raw, abrasive, and often controversial genre, her love of the music poured through album reviews and interviews. She has contributed to four metal publications to date, with an abundance of work published in Exclaim! and Hellbound.

In 2013, Ola gave back to the Canadian music scene as an official adjudicator of the JUNO Awards in the category of Best Hard Rock/Metal Album.
